37-year-old man hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Bremerton (Bremerton, WA)

A 37-year-old man received injuries after being struck by a vehicle Monday in Bremerton.

As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the 1500 block of 6th street at about 5:45 a.m. on reports of an auto-pedestrian crash. The victim was seriously injured as a result of the accident while the involved vehicle had significant damage to its front end. Paramedics applied a tourniquet to the victim’s severely injured leg.

The man was rushed to St. Michael’s Medical Center. The victim was then flown to Harborview Medical Center. The involved driver remained unharmed and cooperated with the officials. The identity of the victim is undisclosed at this time. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
