According to the Brentwood Police Department, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Sunday morning.
The officials stated that the crash happened at Grant Street and Fairview Avenue at around 7:30 a.m.
The officials stated that only one vehicle was involved in the crash.
Upon the arrival of the police, the driver, a 37-year-old man was declared dead at the scene.
The officials stated that the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed which caused the crash.
It is yet to be determined whether drugs or alcohol were contributing factors in the fatal crash.
No additional information regarding the identity of the deceased victim was provided.
