37-Year-Old Crystal Lynne Swanson Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In Bell County (Bell County, TX)

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a pedestrian accident in Bell County on Monday. The accident occurred on U.S. Highway 190 at around 4:45 a.m. 

According to the officials, a pick-up truck was headed west on the highway. At the same time, a woman was walking in the lane of travel. The pick-up truck was not able to avoid crashing into the woman in time. 

The pedestrian was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. She has since been identified as 37-year-old Crystal Lynne Swanson. The driver of the vehicle, a 60-year-old woman from Rockdale, was not injured. 

The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
