According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Decatur on Wednesday.
The crash happened on Farm Road 51 and Farm Road 455 at around 5:45 a.m.
According to the Police, a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic and Harley Davidson motorcycle were involved in the collision.
A 20-year-old Emily Garling was identified as the driver of the Chevrolet traveling southbound, failed to yield the right-of-way, and struck the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was identified as 37-year-old Arcely Montemayor who suffered significant injuries and was transported to the Medical City Denton.
