The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Moses Lake.
The accident happened near Yonezawa Boulevard on SR 17.
According to WSP, a vehicle was travelling southbound on SR 17 in the left lane, toward Yonezawa Boulevard.
Tawney Guenther, 36, was in the left lane of the road just north of Yonezawa Boulevard when the driver of the car struck her.
Guenther was declared dead at the scene by the police.
It is unsure what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were a factor involved.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
The driver faces pending charges.
