36-year-old Nicole Baldovino died, another injured after a car crash in Paradise Valley (Paradise Valley, AZ)

Authorities identified 36-year-old Nicole Baldovino who died after a two-vehicle accident Monday in Paradise Valley.

The preliminary reports showed that a 2021 Tesla was traveling near McDonald Drive and 47th Street at about 4:53 p.m. when the driver failed to maintain control of the car while going around a curve. The Tesla then crashed into a 2021 Ford Bronco that was heading in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Tesla, identified as 36-year-old Nicole Baldovino of Phoenix, was declared dead at a hospital in Scottsdale. The driver of the Ford was transported to the hospital with non-fatal injuries. Officials believe that impairment was not involved in the accident. No other details are available.

An investigation continues.
