36-Year-Old Man Killed In A Motorcycle Crash In Oakley (Oakley, OH)

A tragedy struck on Sunday evening as a motorcyclist lost their life in a fatal crash on the Ridge Avenue ramp to I-71 in Oakley. The incident occurred around 9:03 p.m. when a 36-year-old man was riding a 1998 Suzuki GSF600S.

Authorities reported that the driver lost control of the motorcycle, striking a concrete wall before ultimately landing in a wooded area below the interstate. Sadly, the driver succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the crash.

Police are investigating excessive speed as a potential factor and have confirmed that the driver was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. It is not yet known whether alcohol or drugs played a role.
