36-Year-Old Jeremiah Grant Killed In A Hit-And-Run Accident In Grant County (Grant County, WA)

A tragic hit-and-run accident occurred in Grant County around 2 a.m. on Sunday, claiming the life of a 36-year-old man. The officials have since identified the victim to be Jeremiah Grant.

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), Grant rear-ended another vehicle on State Route 17, causing his vehicle to roll over onto its roof. Unfortunately, Grant was not wearing his seatbelt and was fatally injured. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle that was rear-ended briefly stopped but fled afterward. WSP is actively seeking the occupants of that vehicle. The cause of the fatal crash is under investigation, and authorities are yet to determine if drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
