Authorities identified 36-year-old Jason A Brozovich, from Ellensburg, as the man who lost his life following a two-vehicle collision on early Monday morning near Snoqualmie Pass.
As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place on Interstate 90. The preliminary investigation revealed that Jason A Brozovich was driving a 1998 Honda Accord east on I-90 when he failed to maintain control of the car.
The vehicle rotated and ended up on the interstate where it got hit on the driver’s side by another vehicle. Both vehicles came to a stop blocking the road. Brozovich succumbed to his injuries at the scene. He was reportedly no buckled up at the time of the collision.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 64-year-old Edmonds woman, was transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries. Eastbound Interstate 90 was shut down for more than four hours as crews worked at the scene. No other details are made available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
