A fatal incident unfolded in Smith County, Texas, resulting in the loss of a Frankston woman’s life on a Sunday. She has since been identified by the authorities.
According to a report from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), Danica L. Maclin, aged 36, was travelling south on Hwy 155 South near FM 2661. She lost control of her Mitsubishi Eclipse. Her vehicle then crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a Freightliner truck tractor. The impact of the collision resulted in Maclin being ejected from her vehicle.
Regrettably, Danica L. Maclin was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident as she was fatally injured. The truck driver involved in the collision reportedly emerged from the crash without injuries, as stated by the DPS report.
