The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that a head-on crash left 2 people dead and 1 injured in Clay County on Monday.
The victims were identified as Ashley Michele Altum, 36 and Kerry Hodges 43. The third occupant was airlifted to a hospital in Fort Worth with serious injuries.
Texas Department of Public Safety officials said the crash took place near the intersection of FM 174 and Brock Road around 1:15 PM when a Honda and Jeep collided head-on and directly.
The authorities did not provide any further information regarding the multi-vehicle accident.
