A tragic pedestrian accident unfolded late Wednesday in Pima County as a pedestrian lost their life in a crash near Palo Verde and Irvington.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department revealed that 35-year-old Willius Ventura may have been struck by two different vehicles after running into the road. Ventura was critically injured and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The investigation into this fatal crash remains ongoing. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The officials have not disclosed any details pertaining to the vehicles involved in the crash.
