35-year-old Wendy Trujillo Soto and another person injured after a two-vehicle collision in Kennewick (Kennewick, WA)

On early Saturday morning, 35-year-old Wendy Trujillo Soto, of Boardman, Ore., and another person suffered injuries following a DUI crash in Kennewick.

The two-vehicle crash took place by southbound S.R. 395 approaching 10th Ave near the Kennewick city limits. The preliminary investigation showed that Wendy Trujillo Soto allegedly failed to yield to a traffic signal at 10th Avenue and crashed into another vehicle going westbound.

Soto and the driver of the second vehicle, a 24-year-old Pasco resident, were transported to Trios Health with unspecified injuries. The other two passengers in Soto’s car did not receive any injuries as a result of the accident. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.

An investigation is ongoing.
