The Hayward Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident on Wednesday. The accident occurred near the 30000 block of San Benito Street at around 9:22 p.m.
According to the officials, an SUV had crashed into a parked trailer. The officials found the driver of the SUV unconscious at the scene.
The driver had incurred fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner’s office has disclosed the identity of the driver to be 35-year-old Myra Caballero.
The cause of the fatal accident is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. There are no other details available at this time.
