The Rialto Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Thursday evening. The accident happened on North Riverside Avenue 900 block at around 8:40 p.m.
According to the RPD, Marvin Molina, 35 was struck by a Nissan Sentra being operated by a 34-year-old San Bernardino woman as she crossed the street outside of a crosswalk.
Molina was dead from his injuries when police arrived at the scene a short time later. The Sentra’s driver was unharmed. She didn’t leave the scene and is helping the investigators.
Police believe there was no role of drugs or alcohol in the collision, but the fatal crash investigation is still ongoing.
