The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash that killed one person and left another injured in Tulare County on Sunday. The incident reportedly took place near County Line Road and Zachary Avenue in Delano.
Authorities stated that at approximately 3:00 a.m, a 35-year-old male, drove past a stop sign, went through a fence and struck a building. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, and a 28-year-old co-passenger was transported to the hospital with injuries. Their present condition is unknown.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been disclosed and it is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
