35-year-old Krystal Arnold dead after a single-car crash in Baton Rouge (Baton Rouge, LA)

On Sunday, a single-vehicle crash took the life of 35-year-old Krystal Arnold in Baton Rouge.

As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place on Greenwell Springs Road, close to Oak Villa Boulevard at about 2 a.m. The preliminary investigation indicated that Arnold, of Greenwell Springs, was driving a 2015 Toyota Camry westbound on Greenwell Springs Road when she failed to maintain control of her car while trying to make a left turn and struck a pole.

She suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. No others details are immediately available.

An investigation is ongoing.
