The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a multi-vehicle accident in Anderson County on Monday night. The victim, identified as Kristin Dehart, 35, belonged to Pine Bluff.
According to the officials, she was driving east on US Highway 175 and crossed into the westbound lane, where she crashed into a truck. The truck was driven by Jonathan Puig, 27, of Miami, Florida. Dehart was pronounced dead at the scene, as she was fatally injured.
Puig was treated for his injuries and released. It is not known if alcohol or drugs played a role in this collision. There are no other details available at this time.
