Authorities responded to a motor vehicle crash in Brenham that killed a Washington County man.
The crash was reported to have happened at around 10:45 p.m, on Wednesday night.
Troopers stated that the deceased man was 35-year-old Justin Thomas.
Justin Thomas was driving left on the roadway, he steered into a ditch, hit a concrete culvert and caught fire.
Troopers confirmed that Justin Thomas was the only person traveling in the 2008 Buick LaCrosse.
Justin Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Officials from the Texas Department of Public Safety reported that the crash is still under investigation.
