According to the authorities, a multi-vehicle crash that took place in Columbus claimed the life of a 35-year-old man, who was later identified as Jamel Kendrick.

On Monday, Kendrick, driving his Toyota at the intersection of Dublin Granville Road and Sharon Woods Boulevard, for no particular reason, was struck by a Volkswagen. As a result, Kendrick was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the authorities. 

It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
