According to the College Station Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Thursday in College Station. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident. Authorities stated that the collision occurred in the 3100 block of Harvey Road between Veterans Park and Associates Avenue.
Two vehicles collided with one another and thereby resulted in the wreck. 35-year-old Amadeo Manuel Hernandez-Vasquez was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Other details including how the collision occurred remain unknown. The cause of the accident is yet to be determined. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
The crash continues to be investigated by the CSPD.
