According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle crash that took place in Tehama County killed a 35-year-old on Friday. The Butte County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Abel Corza.
Abel Corza, driving his 2015 Nissan Sentra northbound on Highway 99, Palm Street, collided with a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta that was traveling southbound. The driver of Nissan, Abel Corza, was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
