The Woodland Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Sunday morning. The accident happened at North and Third Streets at around 2:30 a.m. The collision involves only one vehicle.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the motorcyclist lying on the road with head injuries.
According to a preliminary investigation, 34-year-old Pablo Jauregui Jr., a resident of Woodland, motorcycle’s rider lost control as it was moving westbound on North Street, Towle said. The motorcycle ran off the road and into a large tree and a curb on the south side of the road.
He was declared dead at the scene.
The fatal crash is still being investigated by the authorities.
