According to the Santa Ana Police Department, a 34-year-old was killed in a motor vehicle accident as a result of a police pursuit in Santa Ana on Monday.
A 34-year-old motorcyclist crashed into a vehicle in the 900 block of West Edinger Avenue, Flower Street. The motorcyclist was being chased by the police on suspicion of stealing a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
