According to the Wichita Falls Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Friday night in Wichita Falls. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident. Authorities stated that the collision occurred on the Henry S. Grace Freeway.
A Honda Odyssey was traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit a steel girder beam. It was then fully engulfed in flames.
The person found inside the vehicle was identified as 34-year-old Lauren Huskins. Huskins was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
Other details pertaining to the collision remain unknown. The crash continues to be investigated by the WFPD.
