34-Year-Old Joseph David Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Oroville (Oroville, WA)

The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Oroville.

The crash happened on state route 97 on Friday afternoon.

Only one car was involved, according to Trooper Weber, the WSP District 6 public information officer.

34-year-old Joseph David of Orville was driving southbound SR-97 near milepost 328. 

He veered off the road, collided with an embankment, and came to a stop on C Holmes Road.

It appeared to have veered off the road and into a ditch.

David was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police confirmed that he was not wearing a seatbelt.

The officials are investigating the crash. 

It is unclear what caused the fatal crash and if drug or alcohol was a factor.
