The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle accident in Pomona on Saturday. The accident occurred on the eastbound lanes of the San Bernardino Freeway at the Dudley Street off-ramp at around 6:15 a.m.
According to the officials, a single vehicle was involved in the collision. The events leading up to the crash are not yet known at this time.
The victim was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The officials have identified the victim as 34-year-old Cristal Sanchez.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. The officials have reported that the car involved was described as a dark-coloured sedan. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
