The Arlington Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Sunday morning. The accident occurred in the 3600 block of Texas 360 at around 5:15 a.m.
According to the officials, a 2012 Toyota Yaris and a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado were involved in the collision. The Silverado had crashed into the Toyota which caused the driver of the Toyota to be thrown out of the vehicle.
The driver was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time. However, the officials have reported that he was a 33-year-old man.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. The officials have reported that 35-year-old Elias Guzman Aranada, the driver of the Toyota, had initially fled the scene but was later apprehended.
