33-Year-Old Man Killed In A Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash In Santa Barbara County (Santa Barbara County, CA)

According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Wednesday in Santa Barbara County. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.

Authorities stated that the collision occurred along the southbound lanes, about a mile north of Palmer Road. A white Chevrolet Express van came across the northbound lanes and crossed the southbound lanes. Subsequently, the car slammed into a tree.

The driver of the vehicle, a 33-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. Insights pertaining to the identity of the deceased person are yet to be released.

The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
