The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash in Lake Elsinore on Friday morning. The accident happened on southbound Interstate 15 at around 2 a.m.
The collision involved two vehicles. Officials claimed that Luis Solano Guzman was driving a sedan when it collided with a pickup truck in the middle lanes.
Within a short period of time, paramedics from the Riverside County Fire Department arrived and declared the 33-year-old motorist dead there. The pickup’s driver, whose identity was not made public, was unharmed.
The southbound side of I-15 at the scene was partially closed by CHP officers until 4 a.m. A preliminary investigation of the fatal crash was carried out and the wreckage was cleared. Nobody was detained.
