According to the Louisiana State Police Department, a solo motor vehicle crash that took place in East Carroll Parish claimed the life of a 33-year-old who later has been identified as Jamaar Scott.
On Tuesday, Scott, driving his vehicle on US 65, near LA 580, for unknown reasons, lost control of the vehicle, struck a deer, and swerved off the road. As a result of this, Scott was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
