33-Year-Old Clayton Tyler Henning Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Bell County (Bell County, TX)

Clayton Tyler Henning, 33, of Holland, Texas, died after colliding with a concrete barrier during a high-speed chase with Bell County Sheriff’s Department deputies on US 190 in Heidenheimer.

The motor vehicle accident occurred around 10 p.m. on Jan. 18, when deputies attempted a traffic stop due to signs of impairment from Henning. He fled in his 2015 GMC Sierra pickup, leading deputies on a 10-minute chase and reaching speeds over 100 mph.

Henning lost control while navigating a curve, crashing into a concrete barrier. Pronounced dead at the fatal crash, the incident is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
