Officials state that the life of a Live Oak man was claimed after a single-vehicle rollover crash. The incident reportedly took place in the northbound left lane of IH-37.
33-year-old Christopher George Carrington was driving a Ford F-150 when he attempted to overcorrect to the right, and consequently entered a grassy shoulder. His vehicle then skid, causing it to roll over multiple times before coming to a halt.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene; Police reported no other casualties.
The Department of Public Safety is continuing to investigate the fatal crash.
