33-year-old Benjamin J Rupnick dead after a single-vehicle accident south of Spokane (Spokane, WA)

On Tuesday, authorities confirmed that 33-year-old Benjamin J Rupnick, a Lewiston resident, died of his injuries following a traffic accident south of Spokane.

The fatal single-vehicle crash took place on U.S. Highway 195, 6 miles south of Spokane. Benjamin J Rupnick was transported to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, where he later died of his injuries.

Rupnick’s 1998 Chevy S-10 pickup truck was north on U.S. 195 when it drifted off the left side of the road, went down an embankment and flipped several times. Rupnick was ejected from the vehicle as he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

An investigation continues.
