The Yakima Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Monday morning.
According to the police, the 32-year-old woman from Yakima was speeding near the intersection of Fruitvale Boulevard and River Road at around 2 a.m. They claim that after hitting the railroad track, her car started to roll over. She was eventually ejected from the vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been disclosed at this time.
According to authorities, the accident wasn’t discovered until a different driver drove by and dialed 911 later at around 5:30 a.m.
According to police, the woman wasn’t using a seatbelt and was probably intoxicated.
The fatal crash is being investigated.
