On Sunday, a 32-year-old woman, from Copemish, suffered critical injuries following a traffic collision in Northern Michigan.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place on Faylor Road and Marilla Road in Manistee County’s Cleon Township at about 5:55 p.m. The early reports showed that a Ford Crown Victoria, driven by a 32-year-old woman, was heading eastbound on Faylor Road.
For unknown reasons, the car drifted off the roadway to the right, hit a mailbox and a tree, and then flipped over. Due to the impact, the driver was ejected from the car. On arrival, emergency personnel rushed the woman to Munson Medical Center in Traverse City with critical injuries.
According to the officials, alcohol seemed to have contributed to the collision. The identity of the injured victim has not been revealed at this time. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
