32-year-old Sara Castillo killed after a bicycle crash in Waco (Waco, TX)

Authorities identified 32-year-old Sara Castillo as the woman who lost her life following a two-vehicle accident on Monday night in Waco.

As per the initial information, the fatal bicycle crash took place at 10 p.m. on FM 2490 near Childress Creek Drive, northwest of Waco. The preliminary investigation showed that the Ford Expedition traveling south struck a bicyclist who was in the roadway on FM 2490.

The bicycle rider, 32-year-old Sara Castillo, of Waco, succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The incident did not lead to any other injuries. No charges have been filed at this time. No other details are made available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
