The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Killeen man on Saturday morning. According to the Texas DPS, the incident occurred near Business US 190 and the T.J. Mills Boulevard overpass.
Renardo Anthony Roper, 32, was driving a 2010 BMW sedan westbound on Business US 190 when he veered off the road and collided with the northbound lanes of T.J. Mills after failing to maintain a single lane. Justice of the Peace Nicola James pronounced Roper dead in the motor vehicle accident.
Next of kin have been notified. The Texas DPS continues its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
