32-Year-Old Rachel Nuskind Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Hockley County (Hockley County, TX)

In a tragic motor vehicle accident near Smyer on Tuesday, a 32-year-old woman lost her life in a fatal crash. She was identified as Rachel Nuskind by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Reports from DPS reveal that Nuskind was travelling north on Farm to Market Road 168 when she failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign at SH-114 and FM-168. The collision occurred between Nuskind and Santiago Samarron at the intersection.

Despite immediate treatment and release for Mr. Samarron at the scene, Adriana Samarron, a passenger in their vehicle, was transported to Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock with serious injuries.

Tragically, Nuskind was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. There are no other details available at this time.
