According to the California Highway Patrol, a solo motor vehicle crash claimed the life of a 32-year-old in San Diego. The Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Osvaldo Ayala.
At around 7:00 p.m., Ayala, driving his vehicle on State Route 94 east of Euclid Avenue, lost control of the vehicle, swerved off the road, and rammed into a center divider. As a result, Ayala was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
