A fatal collision occurred north of Lynnwood on Friday night, claiming the life of a 32-year-old Tacoma man. Around 10:30 p.m., the man, driving a Honda Accord north on Highway 99, lost control at Lincoln Way.
Crossing the median, he collided head-on with a southbound Kia Sorento. The Accord’s driver was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is not yet known at this time. The 32-year-old Snohomish resident operating the Sorento sustained injuries and was transported to Swedish Mill Creek for medical attention.
The cause of the multi-vehicle accident is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision there are no other details available at this time.
