A fatal crash is currently under investigation by the Houston Police Department at 8400 Almeda Genoa Road. The motor vehicle accident occurred around 5:50 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 1.

The victim, a 32-year-old male, was driving a black BMW 428i at a high rate of speed. Unfortunately, he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to spin and collide with a wooden fence and a large steel container.

The driver was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation, which involved no other persons or vehicles, is ongoing, and the victim’s identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
