32-year-old man injured after a solo-vehicle crash in Montesano (Montesano, WA)

On Saturday night, a 32-year-old Grays Harbor County man suffered injuries following a traffic collision in Montesano.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place at around 9 p.m. on Pioneer Avenue West at Wynoochee Valley Road. The early reports indicated that the 32-year-old Montesano man was headed west when his vehicle went over a triangle divider. The vehicle then went into the brush on the right side of the ramp from Devonshire Road to westbound U.S. Highway 12, and hit a tree.

The man was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed and was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. On arrival, emergency crews airlifted the man to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment of his injuries. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
