The Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim of a pedestrian crash that took place in Malibu on Friday as 32-year-old Dimitri Failla.
Approximately at 6:35 a.m., a tanker truck that was traveling on Pacific Coast Highway, Cross Creek Road, struck Failla, who was also walking on the same road. Dimitri Failla was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The officials have not disclosed any other details regarding the vehicle involved. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
