32-year-old Brian E Baker flown to hospital after motorcycle crash near Nine Mile Falls (Nine Mile Falls, WA)

Emergency crews airlifted 32-year-old Brian E Baker to Sacred Heart Medical Center after a motorcycle accident on Wednesday afternoon near Nine Mile Falls.

Brian E Baker, 32, was heading north on State Route 291 when he lost balance of the motorcycle and veered off the road, ending up in the ditch, according to the Washington State Patrol. Authorities closed down the roadway for several hours. Baker was wearing his helmet at the time of crash, and alcohol or drugs did not seem to play a part in the incident. Baker was cited on suspicion of negligent driving in the second degree, as per WSP.

The crash remains under review.
