The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle accident that killed a person in Sonora on Thursday. Roughly at 9:55 a.m., Blake Rosa was driving his 2022 Toyota south on Mono Way.
The vehicle went straight into the intersection and into an embankment. It then flipped over several times before coming to a rest off the side of the ride. The driver was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The officials only later identified the man as 32-year-old Blake Rosa. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
