According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles took place in Clovis. The Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the victim to be 32-year-old Billy Copple who died in the accident.
Roughly at 10:10 p.m., Billy Copple, driving a Tesla collided head-on into a Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck driven by a 54-year-old man near Highway 168 and Shepherd Avenue. As a result, Billy was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the moment.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
