According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal accident occurred in Oakdale on Monday. The crash happened east of Sawyer Avenue at around 8:10 p.m.
According to the investigators, a 2003 Dodge and a 31-year-old woman were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the Dodge driver approached a bend in the roadway, overturned, and was ejected from the van.
A 31-year-old woman suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Oakdale Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
The accident is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. Additional information regarding the crash is not available currently.
