Dallas police are seeking information from the public to locate a hit-and-run driver responsible for the death of a pedestrian near Samuell-Grand Park. The hit-and-run accident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 24 in the 3800 block of Samuell Boulevard.
The victim, identified as 31-year-old Jose Antonio Herrera-Hernandez, was walking eastbound when struck by a vehicle. The driver failed to stop and fled the scene heading east on Samuell Boulevard. Herrera-Hernandez succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
Dallas police currently lack information about the suspect or the suspect vehicle. Anyone with details about the fatal crash is urged to come forward and assist in the investigation.
