According to the Pigeon Forge Police Department, a solo motor vehicle crash that took place in Pigeon Forge claimed the life of a 31-year-old man, who was later identified as Jeremy Hanes.
On Thursday, Jeremy Hanes driving his vehicle in Pigeon Forge, for unknown reasons, lost control of the vehicle and struck an open car door. As a result, Jeremy Hanes was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
